Bombay Food Truck

Ever since I had seen the movie Chef, the idea of eating at a Food Truck always fascinated me.
Mumbai as compared to Gurgaon does not have many food trucks. So when my friend told me about Bombay Food Truck (BFT) I was super excited to try their menu. At that time BFT was stalled at ONE BKC and I happen to have some work at BKC (which may or may not be intentional!). After some exploring we found this red beauty stationed at ONE BKC..

Apart from the "cool" (let's be honest Food trucks are still a novelty) factor, food trucks promise you some serious foodporn and new spin on old favourites and Bombay Food Truck did not disappoint.

I had Soya bean and tofu Burger with Fresh Lime Water and my friend tried FLT in Pita (which is Falafel, Lettuce, Tomato in Pita with hummus, zhug relish and Tahini cream). The food was scrumptious, the generous quantity left no place for 2nd round! Also the lime water was pleasantly refreshing!

Our meal was prepared by Chef Rupesh who was very accommodating and altered the food ingredients as per our taste preferences. That's the thing about Food trucks your meal is handled by Chef's and served to you within seconds as per your liking.

I usually enjoy the ambience at restaurants but sometimes its quite a pleasant change to be eating at a less formal and fancy place.
